What supplies do you use?

I use Arches Cold Pressed 100% cotton paper, natural paint that I make myself using Natural Earth Paint pigments, handmade ceramic palettes from Sun to Sea Design and LadyMade Pottery (on Etsy), and synthetic watercolor brushes.

As for shipping materials, I use 100% recycled + biodegradable rigid mailers from EcoEnclose, reused cardboard from other shipments for painting backings, paper shipping tape, compostable + recyclable parchment paper, and cards + envelopes from Greenfield Paper Company.

Is your work eco-friendly? What values influence your art + business practices?

Yes! I work hard to run an earth-friendly art studio. I recycle my paper scraps and turn what is still usable into handmade paper, I use natural pigment paint and recycled, reusable or biodegradable materials whenever possible. I’m also really picky about which companies I outsource my printing to. If they do not have an eco-conscious process, I do not work with them.

I support other small businesses and artists as much as possible with my purchases. I am as transparent as I can be about my artistic process, tips and tricks, so that other creatives can flourish too.

More than anything, I am passionate about mental health advocacy. My work is greatly informed by my own experiences with mental illness, and the story behind my art is one of seemingly impossible joy, self love and acceptance. I hope that my artwork and online presence presents a safe space for you to be fully yourself.
